Father Cordier

Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center is located in the

heart of Greater Cincinnati and sits on 13.1 acres of beautifully

landscaped property in a residential area of Norwood, Ohio.

This magnificent structure, originally built in 1920 under the

direction of Archbishop Henry Moeller as a major seminary,

has now become a Marian center under the leadership

of a Board of Trustees made up of religious and laity,

with Rev. Michael Cordier as President.

On the same site, adjacent to Our Lady’s Center,
sits a stately twelve apartment structure with a large living room,
kitchen, laundry, breakfast room, large dining room and office space.
Built in 1911, this building is where Archbishop Moeller and
all succeeding archbishops lived until the 1950’s.
A place for prayer, reflection and meditation.

Two Masses are celebrated daily in the chapels,

Monday – Friday:  8:30am and 7:15pm

– Sorrowful Mother Chapel -south side corner on 1st Floor

and Confessions are heard on Monday, Tuesday

(usually 3pm – 4pm – off of Main hallway)

and first and third Fridays

(usually 6:30pm – 7:00 pm)

Many wonderful spiritual exercises have become a part of the
Center’s activities.  Tenants include The Catholic Shop, Sacred Heart Radio,
Men of the Sacred Heart, American Heritage Girls and Our Lady of Light Foundation.
Retreat facilities have been renovated to complement the old seminary architecture.
We can now house 67 retreatants and spacious meeting rooms can
accommodate many day events as well. We have hosted many
Catholic organizations from around the area, and are looking
forward to welcoming many new groups for the upcoming year.

Our Mission

As a Spiritual Center for the laity, religious and clergy, our purposes are:

To develop religious, charitable, scientific and literary programs and services
to support the mission of the local and universal Roman Catholic Church.

To establish educational, cultural and media facilities to advance
the work of evangelization and the promotion of human dignity and family life.

To engage in such activities to promote the fullness of our Catholic life,
to build a committed faith among each other, to enhance vocations and
to provide an atmosphere of healing, peace, prayer, spiritual care
and sacramental nourishment.

To live the example of Mary’s hope in the Father, faith in Jesus, her Son,
and love in the Holy Spirit.

In obedience to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church,
to fulfill the apostolate at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center,
the home of Our Lady, our Mother, for the greater honor and glory of God.
